Survivorship Care Plan

Survivorship Care Plan

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was given a survivorship care plan by my oncologist for the next five years. The plan listed how many doctor visits and some side effects and risks I could experience in the coming years. I felt like I was waiting for the cancer to come back. So, I created my plan.

For the first two years after treatment ended, I had to see the oncologist every three months. After that, the visits were every six months for the three remaining years. The doctors have their survivorship plan, and this is mine. I’ve chosen every country for a reason. I am genuinely interested in the country’s landmarks, culture, cuisine, and pretty beaches.

I will be writing about my planning, budgeting, and itineraries on the blog. I will probably travel solo or join groups from other countries.

The list could change and more likely to grow.  I thought 50 was a good number to start.

      Hi Becky

Your my first comment. :-) You and Reed have to break in those new passports. We could meet somewhere and travel together.
