Survivorship Care Plan
After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was given a survivorship care plan from my oncologist for the next five years. The plan listed how many doctors visits and some of the side effects and risk I could experience in the coming years. I felt like I was waiting for the cancer to come back. So I created my own plan.
The first two years after treatment ended I have to see the oncologist every three months.  After that, the visits are every six months for the three remaining years.  The doctors have their survivorship plan, and this is mine. Every country I’ve chosen for a reason. I have a genuine interest in the countries landmarks, culture, cuisine or pretty beaches.
I will be writing about my planning, budgeting, and itineraries on the blog. Â I will probably do solo travel and join some groups for other countries.
The list could change and more likely to grow. Â I thought 50 was a good number to start.
