Photo Essay: Many Faces of India Part II
I took a lot of pictures in India during my trip with Photo Enrichment. More pictures then I’ve ever taken in my life. I made two posts just to showcase all of the people I took pictures of. This is part two of the people in India.
New Delhi, India
I didn’t get to stop and see the show so he didn’t get a tip. I think that is what his eyes are saying to me. Come back.

While in Delhi we got to visit Sheesh Ganj Gurudwara. Sikh Temple on Chandni Chowk). The temple feeds thousands of people daily and participants of any religion are welcomed. This man was kind enough to pose for pictures.
Jaipur, India
After everyone got off the elephant ride at the Amber Fort we saw her at the entrance sweeping. She put her broom away to let us take pictures.
We stopped to see how fabrics were dyed and carpet being made. She was cutting the carpet down to make it smooth. She was watching the man who was explaining the process to us. Obviously, I wasn’t paying attention. I was too busy taking pictures of her.
Pushkar, India
This was taken at the Camel Fair. Â I took more pictures of people than camels. But I have a few.
I’m not quite sure where I took this picture. I think we were walking to the sacred lake to attend a religious ceremony. I think she was wondering who we were and why we were taking pictures.
You read and hear stories about the smog in India. Although it was far worst to me in Delhi than anywhere else we visited you can see these how thick it can get.
During our last night in Pushkar, we were treated to a music and dance routine by this family. Â We did a little dancing too but we don’t have any pictures of that.
Jodhpur, India
This was our first day in India. This lady stopped us and wanted us to take her picture but as soon as we started snapping she stopped smiling. This must be her signature experience.

Posted at 21:07h, 18 MarchI have never really taken a lot of pictures of people, including myself. Love the captures! Can learn a lot about India just from the photos you captured and the back story you depicted behind each one. 🙂 Cheers!
