24 Apr My Quarantine Bucket List
My Quarantine Bucket List. Just like everyone else, I started in 2020 with a list of goals I wanted to accomplish in 2020. Some of them will be put on hold. I realized that there are several things I can still work on.
Here are the things on my vision board that I can still work on.
Sell my house
It might not be the right market for me to see, but I can still work on getting rid of things. It’s amazing how much stuff you can accumulate in 12 years.
Write one new blog post a month
I am still working full time. My daily commutes have been eliminated. In theory, this gives me more time to write. The reality is I haven’t been able to focus. This is something I am working on improving. I joined a writing group, that holds weekly virtual write-ins.
Be active at least 30 minutes every day
My goal to be active every day was to walk outside at lunch or after work. A couple of times a week I was going to do activities I enjoy doing, hiking, and step aerobics. I had also started running in 5k’s at the end of last year. Many of the races I had signed up for have been canceled or gone virtual. Instead, I’ve been doing home workouts.
Meditating 20 to 30 minutes a day
I have been doing daily meditations using the Insight app. I started at the end of last year. I have done 135 consecutive days for ten minutes.
TEFL and teach English online
I completed my TEFL course in early March. I haven’t applied to be an online teacher yet. I wanted to try it out and earn some extra money.
Become a Travel Agent
I may have picked the worst time to become a travel agent. Or it may be the best time. BNT Travel Group
New goals
- I created a new good blog called Myles of Food.
