My Top Seven Photos on Instagram: June 2017
I can’t believe that half of 2017 is gone already. Some of the top photos were taken in 2016 when I was in Australia and New Zealand. I have three big trips coming up in the second half of the year that I’m really excited about. I will have lots of pictures to share on Myles to Travel.
1 – Matamata, New Zealand
2 – Sydney, Australia
I spent a lot of time walking on the beach in Australia. This was my first big trip after finishing treatment. When I stopped to admire the waves of the ocean I noticed a little boy walking not far behind me stepping in my footprints. I let him pass me and I started to walk next to his footsteps. Can you tell which one's are mine? 😜
3 – Chicago, Illinois
4 – Michigan City, Indiana
5 – Chicago, Illinois
Photo 1 of 5 This weeks series of photos I took at the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. This is my first time visiting. It is one of the largest conservatories in the US. It's indoor so you can visit all year round. It is really stunning. Some of the plants made me feel like I was in tropical lands and not on the West side of Chicago. I noticed a lot of couples. It seems like a popular place to go out on a date. It's free with a suggested donation of $5. You can really test someone to see if they skip paying the money and decide if you want a second date. 😉
6 – Ayers Rock in Australia
I took this one while we were walking at Kata Tjuta also known as The Olgas. Most of my group envied me because I got bought a net. It listed in our itinerary, and most people didn't buy one. It should be a must because the flies are always buzzing your face and landing on you. Some people said they got used to it. I don't' know because I had a net and I still felt them on my arms. I don't post many pictures of myself on my page. I don't take many when I'm traveling. Mainly because I'm usually alone and my selfies look silly. I'm usually not satisfied with the ones taken by strangers. They usually catch me not looking, or I look annoyed.
7 – Chicago, Illinois
That’s it for June. I will do a top seven for the first half of the year. Stay tuned for more photos. I’m really excited for the second half of the year.
